Umpire Information

Nashua South is always looking for umpires.

If you are interested in being an Official Babe Ruth Baseball Umpire for our Major League you must be "patched". If you are interested in becoming a "patched" umpire, please visit the Babe Ruth League web site at www.baberuthleague.org/umpires.html.

Knowledge of and experience with the basic rules of the game is necessary. Reliability is a requirement, too, as teams will be depending on you to be at their games.

During the season, games are scheduled for 5:45 PM - 8:00 PM on weekdays, and continually during the day starting at 8:00 AM on weekends. For more information contact the Nashua South Umpire-In-Chief Chairperson for more information.

The Booklet formatted manuals can be printed in a booklet form on letter size paper on a duplex printer. First set your printer to:
+ duplex printing (print on both sides)
+ letter size (8 1/2 x 11 inch) paper
+ landscape orientation
+ flip page on the short edge
Then arrange, fold, and staple the booklet together.
