Defensively Hult was extremely solid behind the plate, and Perkins fielded his position very well on the mound.

The A's defeated the Giants in a well-played game, which ended on a 7-4 double play started by left fielder Nikhil Karnane. Patrick McDonnell led the A's offense with three solid singles and was a defensive stand out behind the plate. Chad Olivieri and Anthony Martin also contributed to the offense with hits and stolen bases. The Giants were led offensively by Ryan Penkala with 2 hits and Brian Barrows who singled. The A's pitching was solid. Olivieri pitched 3 innings, striking out 9 and walking no one. Mike Fuller pitched two innings, allowing a run while striking out 3 and walking 2. Patrick McDonnell closed it out for the A's. For the Giants, Jason Fox started and pitched 4 solid innings, striking out 2 and scattering 3 hits. Mike Levasseur pitched the 5th and Penkala recorded 3 k's in one inning of work.

The Rockies scored first on a double by Nick Koch, scoring Ben Seegel. The Giants shut down the Rockies for the next 2 innings and scored on hits by Ryan Penkala and Mike Levasseur. Rockies scored again in the 4th, with the Giants tying it up again in the 5th. Tied at 2, the game went into extra innings, with the Rockies squeeking out a run and holding onto the lead to win 3 to 2. Pitching for the Rockies was Ben Seegel (6 innings, 10 k's). Matt Lawyer (1 inning). Pitching for the Giants were CJ Mellen (2 innings, 4K). Jason Fox (2 innings, 1K). Ryan Penkala (2 innings, 3K) and Mike Levasseur (1 inning, 2K). Offensive standouts for the Giants were Ryan Penkala (2-3, 1R, BB) and Jason Fox (2-3, 2 Doubles). Offensive standouts for the Rockies were Ben Seegel (2-3, 2R) and Nick Koch (1-2, 2RBI, BB).

The Giants pitching behind Jason Fox (2 innings), CJ Mellon (2 innings), & Ryan Penkala (2 innings) combined to pitch a one run defensive battle against the Royals. The bottom of the third inning made the difference in this game with Charlie Deichmann getting a key walk to lead things off and some heads up base running by Brian Barrows, Ryan Penkala, Riley Bourque and Jason Fox. Fox drove in two runs with a one out single down the right field line giving the Giants all they would need to capture the win. Key defensive plays by Nick Quadros on a nifty play in the hole to throw out the runner at first base and Riley Bourque who played a screaming line drive by Steve Signorello off the fence perfectly relaying it in to second base and holding Steve with a long single seemed to stop any rally the Royals tried to mount. Brian Barrows, Riley Bourque, Jason Fox, and Mike Levasseur lead the Giants with one hit a piece in timely at bats. Ryan Szczygielski (ZZ) pitched four strong complete innings with Matt Savoia coming in to close the game for his second consecutive day, making all three put outs in the bottom of the fifth inning with two strike outs and a hard shot back up the middle that Matt snagged and threw on to first for the put out. Steve Signorello and Patrick Bue lead the Royals with one hit a piece. Ryan S. continued to hit the ball hard, but fortunately for the Giants, they were in position to make the plays. Total innings pitched:Giants-Fox 2, Mellen 2 and Penkala 2. Royals-Szczygielski 4 and Savoia 1.

The A's got all the offense they needed in the first inning when a single by Patrick McDonnell scored Chad Olivieri--then Mike Fuller followed up with a home run off the concession stand. The Giants got an infield single from Riley Bourque who later came around to score on an error. Chad Olivieri started and pitched 5 innings, striking out 11, allowing 1 hit and made a diving play on a comebacker. Mike Fuller closed it out with an efficient 11-pitch inning. For the Giants, Michael Levasseur pitched two innings, CJ Mellen two, and Ryan Penkala pitched one inning. The Giants pitchers only walked two batters. Olivieri and Nikhil Karnane also had hits for the A's.

The Giants' offense started strong, with four runs in the first inning, highlighted by a three-run homerun by Ryan Penkala. The Giants also received offensive contributions from Cam Kessel, Charlie Diechmann, Brian Barrows, Jason Fox, and Owen Shea. Defensively, Riley Bourque played a great centerfield. The Giants and Phillies played an exciting game and battled to the end. The Giants were led offensively by Ryan Penkala (2-2, 2 RBIs), and Tommy Lessard (2-2). The Phillies jumped out to an early 5-0 lead with aggressive base running and a timely hit from Steve D'Onfro. The Phillies offense was active all game and had big days from Zach Cunningham (2-4), Noah Toland (2-3), Chris Fisher (3 BBs) and Max Coffin (3 BBs). The Phillies also received solid pitching from Cunningham (3 innings), Coffin (2 innings), and Jacob Derusha (2 innings). The Giants chipped away at the lead and had a huge day at the plate from Owen Shea (3-4), including the game winning hit in the bottom of the 6th. The Giants also received hits from Brian Barrows, Jason Fox, Ryan Penkala, and Jacob Wilcox. On the mound, CJ Mellen (2 innings), Mike Levasseur (2 innings), and Penkala (2 innings) combined for 10 strikeouts.

In an exciting game that came down to the very last inning, the Giants hung on to defeat the A's. The Giants displayed a well-balanced offense, with 6 different players collecting hits. Leading the ofense were Ryan Penkala (3-3, double), Brian Barrows (3-4), Charlie Deichmann (3-4), Owen Shea (2-3), Jason Fox (1-3), and Riley Bourque (1-4). Also contributing to the offense was Jacob Wilcox with an important RBI. Defensively, Nick Quadros and Cam Kessel made huge plays in the last inning to preserve the victory. On the mound, the Giants received solid outings from Fox (2 innings), Mike Levasseur (2 innings), and Penkala (2 innings) who combined for 7 strikeouts. The A's also displayed a well-balanced offense, with 7 different players collecting hits. The biggest came from Nathan Fallon who hit his first career homerun. Also hitting well were Brian Toupin (3-3), Tyler North (double), and Anthony Martin (double). The A's received other offensive contributions from Chad Olivieri, Patrick McDonnell, and Mike Fuller. On the hill, McDonnell (4 innings) and Martin (2 innings) combined for 8 strikeouts.

The Giants finished their regular season series with the Orioles with a hard fought win. The Giants offense was led by Ryan Penkala (3-3), Charlie Deichmann (2-4), Brian Barrows (2-3), Owen Shea (2-4), and Tommy Lessard (2-2, including a double that came within inches of a homerun). Also collecting hits were Cam Kessel and CJ Mellen (double). Mellen (2 innings), Mike Levasseur (2 innings), and Penkala (2 innings) combined for 5 strikeouts. The Orioles were led by Christian Lowell (3-4, double), Nick Perkins (2-3), Keenan Dwyer (double), Kyle Cappone (double), Trevor Hult, and Zack Torla. Dwyer (4 innings) and Cam Stockman (2 innings) combined for 9 strikeouts.

This was the game that wouldn't end, lasting almost 3 hrs. The score doesn't tell the story here, the Royals kept trying to pull away but the Giants kept trying to come back. The Royals offense was lead by Owen Amigo who was 3-4 including his 3rd and 4th homeruns of the season, a grand slam and a 3 run shot knocking in 10 runs on the day and scoring 5 times. For the Giants Charlie Deichmann had 2 hits one being a grand slam of his own.Other Royals offense included hits from Luke Ansel 2-2 with a double, Steve Signorell 3-5 with a double, Alex Amigo, Cam Novotny 2 hits, Adam Robinson and Devon Gates 2 hits including a double. The Giants and Rockies played an exciting game that came down to the last inning, with the Giants hanging on for the victory and clinching second place for the "regular season". Also contributing to the Giants' offense were Jason Fox, Charlie Deichmann, Riley Bourque, and Mike Levasseur (3 BBs). On the mound, CJ Mellen (2 innings), Fox (2 innings), and Penkala (2 innings) combined for 4Ks. The Rockies were led by Alec Marshall (4-4, including a HR), Mike Harding (2-2), and Matt Lawyer (3-3). Also collecting hits were Collin Morrow, Nick Koch, Ben Seegel, and Mayur Patel. Lawyer (5 innings) and Seegel (1 inning) combined for 4Ks.

The Giants ended the regular season with another hard fought victory against the Rockies. The Giants utilized patience at the plate and aggressive base running to secure the win. The team collected only four hits from Nick Quadros, Charlie Deichmann, Mike Levasseur, and Ryan Penkala. On the mound Levasseur (2 innings), Brian Barrows (1 inning), and CJ Mellen (4 innings) combined for 7 strikeouts. The Rockies recieved solid pitching from Collin Morrow (2 innings), Cam Paquette (2 innings), and Carter Cormier (2 innings). The Rockies were led offensively by Alec Marshall (2-4), Alec Juknievich (double), Cormier, and matt Lawyer.

Wow, what an exciting game of baseball tonight. Rockies jump out to a 2 to nothing lead in the top of the 1st. Giants tie it up in the bottom of the 2nd. It's 3 to 3 after the 3rd. Giants go up by 1 in the bottom of the 4th. Rockies score 5 in the top of the 5th with the help of Ben Seegel's grand slam going up by 4. Giants come back with a 2 run homer of their own by Ryan Penkala in the bottom of the 5th, cutting the lead to just 2. The Giants succeed in stranding Rockies runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the 6th. Coming up to bat the Giants threaten with another home run by their lead of batter Charlie Deichmann closing the gap to only a single run with no outs. The following two Giants are put out and struck out respectively bringing Brian Barrows to the plate who hits a clutch single and steals 2nd with Tommy Lessard at the plate. Poised to score the tying run, the Rockies pitcher Matt Lawyer gets Tommy to strike out for the final out of the game winning 8 to 7. This game had it all, and if it wasn't for the Giants impecable defense, the Rockies score would have been considerably higher as the Giants held the Rockies to only 6 hits by completing 13, yes that's thirteen defensive put outs including a double play. The Rockies bats were on fire. The Rockies defense was no slouch today either, allowing only 7 hits with 10 defensive put outs of their own. The Giants offense was led by Ryan Penkala who went 3 for 3 with a double and a 2 RBI home run, Charlie Deichmann who went 2 for 3 with a solo home run and Brian Barrows who went 3 for 4. Also contributing was CJ Mellow who had an RBI single in the 2nd Inning. On the Mound, Jason Fox Pitched 3 complete Innings, CJ Mellon Pitched one complete inning and was relieved in his 2nd inning of work by Ryan Penkala who assumed a bases loaded, no outs situation in the top of the 5th and pitched the rest of the 5th and closed out the game in the 6th for 2 innings of work. The Giants pitching combined for 4 K's on the night. For the Rockies Ben Seegel led the offensive charge with a 3 for 3 performance including a 4 RBI grand slam in the top of the 5th and 5 RBI's on the night. Also contributing to the Rockies offense was Nick Koch who went 1 for 1, Cameron Paquette who went 1 for 2 with 2 RBI's and Collin Morrow who went 1 for 4 with an RBI. From the Mound, Ben Seegel went 3 innings, striking out 4 and Matt Lawyer went 3 innings also striking out 4. Fantastic basball from start to finish, I'm really excited to have been part of this game and am very proud of all the kids and their sportsmanship throughout.

Also pitching for the Giants was Mike Levasseur (2 innings) and Ryan Penkala, who came in to close the game in the 6th. The Orioles Cam Stockman pitched 5 solid innings and struck out 4 batters. Offensively the Orioles received hits from Christian Lowell, Keenan Dwyer, and Kyle Capone.

The Giants defeated the Phillies to remain alive in the South playoffs. The Giants received big offensive days from Ryan Penkala (2-2, HR, 2R), and Owen Shea (2-2). Also collecting hits were Riley Bourque and Tommy Lessard. Defensively, CJ Mellen had a great day at third base. On the mound, Jason Fox (3 innings), Mellen (1 inning), and Penkala (3 innings) pitched well. The Phillies received hits from Noah Toland (2-3), Max Coffin, Zach Cunningham, Jack Leatherman, and Chris Fischer (2-3). Coffin (4 innings) and Cunningham (1 inning) pitched well and combined for three strikeouts.

Also collecting hits were Jason Fox, Jacob wilcox, CJ Mellen (2 RBIs), and Mike Levasseur. Charlie Deichman also collected a key RBI. Defensively, Tommy Lessard made a key catch in right field to save at least two runs. On the mound Mellen (3 innings) and Penkala (3 innings) combined for 8 srikeouts. The Rockies also displayed a well-balanced offense with 8 different players collecting hits. The following Rockies had big days at the plate: Collin Morrow (2-4), Nick Koch (2-4), Matt Lawyer (2-3), and Connor Prangley (2-3). Also collecting hits were Alec Marshall, Cam Paquette, Alec Juknievich, and Carter Cormier. On the mound, Lawyer battled and pitched 5 innings and collected 2 strikeouts.

The A's capped off a tremendous season with a hard-fought 4-0 victory over a well-coached Giants team. The A's pitching was the story in this one, with Chad Olivieri and Mike Fuller splitting duties in the championship game. Olivieri started and pitched 3 innings, striking out 8 and allowing 2 hits. Mike Fuller pitched the final 3 innings, allowing no hits and no walks. Fuller also took away a hit from Jason Fox (after a great 10-pitch at bat) by jumping and snaring a chopper and getting Fox at first. Mike Levasseur was very solid for the Giants as he pitched 5, allowing just 4 hits. The A's got started in the first inning on a line single by Chad Olivieri (2-2 BB, R, 6 SB) who scored on dropped third strike. The A's rallied again in the 4th on a Fuller walk and hustle single by Brian Toupin, who scored with the help of great bunts by Ryan and Tyler North. For the Giants, Charlie Deichmann ripped a single in the gap and Owen Shea lined a solid single to center. Toupin robbed Shea of another hit later in the game. Tommy Lessard took away a hit from the A's Anthony Martin by grabbing a liner. Catcher Patrick McDonnell made a diving catch on a bunt attempt to end the game.
